Mozart, String Quartet in A major, K 169, beginning of the first
movement / solution
This movement is asonatga form (a pretty short one). The excerpt
is the esposition. In the score you find what you should do:
mainly notation of 'missing tones', and description of the harmony, and
of harmonic patterns. It is also a good idea to stay aware 'where you are'
in the form all the time. There are (sometimes) quite some secondary dominants
used in this excerpt!
